Authorizes the New York Liquidation Bureau to establish a program to evaluate and reimburse eligible local educational agencies for monetary liabilities arising from civil claims or settlement agreements related to certain acts that occurred during a period covered by a liability insurance policy issued by an insolvent insurer.
Requires gas corporations to file maps with the public service commission annually to assess leak-prone gas infrastructure and the decommissioning of such leak-prone gas lines; requires the public service commission to publish such maps and certain accompanying documents on the commission's website; directs the public service commission to designate neighborhood priority decarbonization zones.
Establishes procedures to be followed when the body scan of an incarcerated individual, employee or visitor to a correctional facility displays alleged abnormalities; requires staff discipline for staff who have wrongfully denied visitation to a visitor or entry to an employee based on a body scan; requires the collection and reporting of certain information relating to visitation and entry denials based on body scans; requires such law to be posted in visitor processing areas of correctional facilities.
Enacts the "no gambling ads for kids act" under which certain covered platforms and social media platforms are prohibited from advertising a service permitting gaming-related gambling, predictive market wagering, online sweepstakes gaming, sports-related gambling, and/or traditional online gambling to minors.
Enacts the "protecting our kids from gamification of gambling act"; makes it unlawful for operators of social gaming platforms to provide a service to a minor user that allows online gaming-related gambling.
Requires the creation of an immigration enforcement activity transparency dashboard, which shall be made publicly available, to track certain information relating to immigration authorities activities within New York state.
Authorizes education-related dual employment for employees of certain schools offering special education services; prohibits certain anti-competitive actions that would impact such schools.
Allows certain tenants to submit emergency housing transfer requests to the appropriate public housing agency; provides for support for survivors of domestic violence; provides for the creation of a centralized emergency housing transfer platform; makes related provisions.
