Relates to clarifying which entities handle the reporting of pregnancy loss; the responsibilities of health care providers and penalties for not protecting the identities of individuals who suffered a pregnancy loss.
Provides for state assistance to local governments for the enforcement of fire prevention and building codes using monies paid into the code enforcement account.
Relates to payments in lieu of taxes; provides that the tax base growth factor or quantity change factor includes the change in assessed value for each property on the exempt side of the tax rolls under a payment in lieu of tax agreement; allows a local government or school district to elect to include the equivalent taxable value of property subject to a payment in lieu of taxes agreement in the calculation of its quantity change factor.
Relates to the creation of a department of corrections and community supervision identification form; relates to the use of such form as proof of identity for individuals applying for a non-driver identification card or certain driver's licenses.
Directs the commissioner of the department of environmental conservation to promulgate rules and regulations establishing targets for the sales of zero emissions medium and heavy duty vehicles in the state.
Prohibits cases from being closed without a hearing or written stipulation; requires a stenographic record of all hearings held; requires minutes and decisions to be provided to the injured worker in their native language.
Requires the installation of intelligent speed assistance devices if a driver accumulates eleven or more points on their driving record during a 24 month period, or receives 6 speed camera or red light camera tickets during a twelve month period.
Prohibits public food service establishments operating in the state from providing excess food service items including single-use utensils, condiments, napkins and extra containers, to any customer except upon, and in accordance with, the express request of that customer.
Prohibits the purchase of single-use plastic products by state agencies, first limiting purchases to be used at any event, briefing, or meeting hosted or sponsored by a state agency in 2030, and a complete prohibition beginning in 2035.
Provides for adult changing tables to be placed within an enclosed restroom facility or other similar private facility that is for use by persons with disabilities who need help with diapering at commercial places of public amusement and state-owned buildings open to the public.
