Requires public notice and public engagement when a general hospital seeks to close entirely or a unit that provides maternity, mental health or substance use care.
Authorizes the town of Clinton to impose a 3% occupancy tax upon persons occupying hotel or motel rooms in such town; provides for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof.
Removes residency requirements for persons holding the office of assistant district attorney for the county of Ulster; provides that a person holding such office may reside in Ulster county or an adjoining county within the state.
Authorizes Janay Gasparini, a part-time police officer, with the town of New Paltz police department to take the civil service examination and be eligible for appointment as a full time police officer for the town of New Paltz.
