Prohibits utility corporations from imposing late fees, interest, or penalties during an investigation by the commission; allows retroactive late fees, interest, or penalties if a determination is made in favor of such utility corporation; prohibits utility services from being terminated during an investigation by the commission; requires utility corporations to notify customers of investigations; requires notice to the general public; requires the public service commission to prepare reports on investigatory proceedings relating to gas, electric, and steam service.
Relates to the definition of elevated blood lead levels; provides that elevated lead levels means a blood lead level greater than or equal to 3.5 micrograms of lead per deciliter of whole blood or such lower blood lead level as may be established by the department of health pursuant to rule or regulation.
Exempts a person from a money judgment arising from an action in another state for knowingly engaging in conduct that aids or abets the performance or inducement of an abortion.
Requires the division of housing and community renewal to promulgate forms which a landlord of a rent regulated unit in a building with four or more such units shall be required to use when requesting additional information from a tenant who has made a request to sublet.
Prohibits drug, cannabis or alcohol testing of pregnant or postpartum individuals and newborns unless the individual consents and it is within the scope of medical care, or the testing is necessary for a medical emergency.
Requires the office of mental health to provide an informational notice to supportive housing tenants which contains information about a supportive housing tenant's rights as a tenant, information about their building and other related information.
Provides that in cities with a population of one million or more, the rent following the dissolution date of Mitchell-Lama developments shall be the last rent authorized for the affected dwelling.
Requires plainly legible display of building numbers on all buildings to which numbers have been assigned; provides for a fine for violations of such requirement.
Criminalizes knowingly causing a minor to attend a place where exhibition of animal fighting is being conducted, establishes such offense is considered a misdemeanor.
