Requires food service establishments to provide clear notice to customers of major food allergens that are contained in any menu item of such food service establishment.
Directs the department of health to conduct a study and prepare a report of recreational activity programming in nursing homes examining the accessibility and inclusivity of programming, including accommodations for residents with physical or cognitive impairments, availability of multilingual services, transportation for off-site programming, and scheduling considerations.
Prevents an increase in vehicular lane capacity of highways within two hundred feet of certain public housing facilities, in areas with high rates of asthma, and in environmental justice communities.
Enacts the "pediatric palliative care act" to establish pediatric palliative care centers to provide palliative care to individuals who are under twenty-one years of age, have been diagnosed with a chronic, complex, life-threatening illness that is expected to shorten their life expectancy, and is not expected to survive past twenty-one years of age.
Provides for a deduction against personal gross income in an amount equal to fees, costs and expenses paid or incurred including legal fees and agency costs in connection with the adoption of a child.
Imposes a special tax of three-tenths of one percent or one dollar, whichever is greater, on the receipts from the sale of art, antique furniture or antique jewelry at auction; establishes the art education fund to provide assistance for art education and art supplies at the kindergarten through twelfth grade levels at Title I public schools.
