Requires peer-to-peer car sharing programs provide insurance coverage in amounts equal to the financial responsibility requirements set forth in section three hundred eleven of the vehicle and traffic law; removes requirements relating to requiring additional insurance coverage.
Requires mandatory health insurance coverage for acupuncture services upon the prescription of a health care provider acting within the provider's scope of practice.
Requires a pharmacy benefit manager to pay a participating pharmacy at minimum at the national average drug acquisition cost (NADAC) rate, or at the pharmacy acquisition cost rate if greater or there is not a NADAC rate, plus a professional dispensing fee that is at minimum the professional dispensing fee paid under the state medical assistance program.
Requires the court to consider a child's health and safety when making a decision regarding child custody and visitation; directs the court to review certain information as it relates to allegations of child abuse, domestic violence and child safety.
Establishes the large projects historic rehabilitation tax credit and the "white elephant" housing historic rehabilitation projects tax credit program for qualified rehabilitation expenditures totaling fifty million dollars or more with respect to a certified historic structure that has been vacant, as determined by local code enforcement or other reasonable means, for at least ten of fifteen consecutive years preceding the date of the taxpayer's application for the rehabilitation credit.
Creates an identification card program for incarcerated individuals in local correctional facilities; requires such identification cards to be identical to non-driver identification cards issued to the general public; waives fees for such identification cards.
Relates to the sale and possession of self-defense spray devices in the state; removes the requirement that only authorized dealers and pharmacists could sell such devices; permits shipping of such devices within the state; repeals certain provisions of law relating thereto.
Establishes an intensive addiction and medical services integrated services pilot program to support two three-year demonstration programs that provide intensive addiction and medical services integrated services to individuals who have significant addiction and medical issues.
Establishes visiting policies for incarcerated people, to provide incarcerated people opportunities for personal contact with relatives, friends, clergy, volunteers and other persons to promote better institutional adjustment and better community adjustment upon release.
Includes fuel-flexible linear generators which do not utilize a fossil fuel resource in the process of generating electricity as qualifying as renewable energy systems.
