Requires State employer to ascertain child abuse or sexual misconduct in employment applications for certain positions involving children; requires background checks for current and prospective employees.
Deactivates certain committees, councils, panels, and task forces of advisory or temporary nature if entity does not meet or have quorum at least once every year.
Directs Commissioner of Education to review handling of bullying reports; requires DOE to include additional content in guidance document on bullying; requires communications on bullying be available to parents in additional languages.
