Urging the Congress of the United States to adopt H.R. 1876, the "Keeping Our Field Offices Open Act," H.R. 1877, the "Protecting Americans' Social Security Data Act," and S. 770, the "Social Security Expansion Act."
In evidence-based reading instruction, further providing for definitions and for evidence-based reading instruction curriculum and providing for reading screening, for reading deficiency and identification, for school entity duties and reading intervention plan, for parent notification, for grants to school entities, for funding and for reporting; and establishing the Evidence-based Reading Instruction Restricted Account.
Further providing for definitions, for general powers of the board, for examination and for requirements for issuance of certificate; repealing provisions relating to practice in this Commonwealth by individuals under substantial equivalency; further providing for practice outside this Commonwealth under substantial equivalency and for practice by firms and unlicensed entities under substantial equivalency; providing for practice in this Commonwealth by individuals under automatic mobility; and further providing for licenses to practice, for licensing of firms, for grounds for discipline, for reinstatement and for unlawful acts.
In casualty insurance, repealing provisions relating to coverage for mammographic examinations and breast imaging and providing for coverage for mammographic examinations, magnetic resonance imaging and other forms of breast imaging.
In membership, contributions and benefits, providing for supplemental annuity commencing 2025; in benefits, providing for supplemental annuity commencing 2025; providing for special funds and for disposition of Budget Stabilization Reserve Fund; establishing the Budget Stabilization Reserve Fund Interest Account; and making a repeal.
Encouraging the Department of Community and Economic Development to partner with the private sector and tourism promotion entities to establish and promote a Pennsylvania Sweet and Salty Trail to honor and recognize the importance and value of the confectionery, snack food, food manufacturing and agricultural industries in this great Commonwealth.
Establishing the Pennsylvania Family and Medical Leave Program and the Family and Medical Leave Fund; conferring powers and imposing duties on the Department of Labor and Industry; creating a right of action; and imposing penalties.
Condemning the antisemitic firebombing attack on June 1, 2025, in Boulder, Colorado, against peaceful demonstrators and calling for the Commonwealth to combat the continued rise of antisemitism.
