Requires the office for people with developmental disabilities to develop and maintain a community residence opportunities waitlist which includes the names and contact information of all individuals seeking placement in a community residence.
Authorizes school districts that provide transition services to allow the delivery of such transition services, including integrated employment, during school hours.
Prohibits the application of fail-first or step therapy protocols to coverage for the diagnosis and treatment of serious mental health conditions; defines serious mental health condition.
Establishes the water-based fire protection licensure act, setting forth licensure requirements for contractors engaged in the business of the layout, installing, repairing, inspecting, testing, or maintaining of water-based fire protection systems and components.
Requires manufacturers to provide access to motor vehicle data to motor vehicle owners and designees; provides certain exceptions; repeals upon enactment of similar federal legislation.
Relates to parking spaces for handicapped persons; provides that the commissioner of motor vehicles shall provide in any pre-licensing course a mandatory component of education of the laws relating to handicapped accessible parking.
Relates to the reimbursement of local services provided to persons with a disability; provides for retroactive reimbursement if local services were furnished prior to approval.
Exempts certain pieces of property from licensing restrictions for manufacturers and wholesalers of alcoholic beverages on licensees who sell at retail and for on-premises consumption.
Requires the office for people with developmental disabilities to create a staffing plan for workforce emergencies when experiencing staffing shortages.
