Requires providers of residential services to developmentally disabled children to have electronic monitoring devices in the common areas of their residential facilities.
Enacts the "Prader-Willi syndrome residential stabilization and best-practice support act" in relation to providing services to individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome.
Provides a reimbursement to small businesses and residential consumers of certain utilities for failure to provide contracted services; requires the Long Island power authority to do the same.
Establishes a family caregiver program which shall receive reimbursement from Medicaid and directs the commissioner of health to secure approval from the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for family caregivers.
