Reduces the period of notice required to be given when a written demand for rent is served on a tenant after the tenant has defaulted in the payment of rent and the period of notice to be given serving a warrant issued pursuant to a final judgment of eviction from fourteen days to seven days.

Exempts police and peace officers receiving treatment from mandatory reporting of substantial risk or threat of harm by mental health professionals, unless the mental health professional determines, based on reasonable professional judgment, that the condition impairs such person's ability to perform their job duties.
Excludes the five state-run veterans homes from assessments on their gross receipts received from all patient care services and other operating income; directs the Commissioner of Health to apply to the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services for any necessary waivers pursuant to federal law and regulation.
