Increases the number of entities to whom the New York state energy research and development authority must submit an annual report; requires the report to include a brief summary of all proceeds collected and administered by the authority pursuant to an order of the public service commission or pursuant to regulation, including, but not limited to, assessments, fees, taxes, transfers, corporate income or surcharges imposed on energy consumers or power generators.
Enacts the "ratepayer transparency act" which requires bills utilized by public and private gas corporations, electric corporations and gas and electric corporations in levying charges for service to include separate categories for certain charges.
Updates the fee collected by county clerks and clerks for the city of New York for deposit into the cultural education account from $15 to $30; increases the amount retained by the county or city from $0.75 to $1.00.
Establishes a temporary practice authorization program for physicians, registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to practice in underserved areas.
Memorializing Governor Kathy Hochul to proclaim October 8, 2025, as Emergency Nurses Day and October 5-11, 2025, as Emergency Nurses Week in the State of New York
