Provides that supervision by a licensed physical therapist of a physical therapist assistant shall be continuous but shall not require the physical presence of the licensed physical therapist at the time and place where services are being performed; requires a licensed physical therapist to be available for consultation with the physical therapist assistant or the patient within a reasonable amount of time.
Designates an individual found to have harassed or shown a harmful pattern of conduct directed at amateur or professional athletes, coaches, officials, or participants of a sports event, including but not limited to certain instances of verbal, written or electronic threats, lewd or obscene statements or images, vandalism or nonconsensual physical contact, as a prohibited sports bettor; requires the commission to notify the individual and allows for the individual to contest such designation.
Relates to excepting situations where a physician or other licensed health care provider is authorized to dispense certain medications and is practicing medicine in the oncology setting and is dispensing oncology drugs or drugs related to an approved course of treatment used to manage symptoms related to cancer or cancer therapies.
Provides that the "Suicide Awareness and Remembrance Flag" shall be the official state flag for the raising of awareness of veteran suicide; directs the commissioner of general services to establish a protocol for the flying of such flag.
Updates provisions relating to dignity for all students including curriculum and teacher training requirements designed to prevent student suicide with a focus on LGBTQ students.
Extends the effectiveness of provisions providing for special proceedings to convey title to abandoned commercial and industrial real property to a city, town, or village.
Provides that when approving proposals to enhance the existing benefits provided by a wetland or to create and maintain new wetland benefits in order to increase the likelihood that a proposed activity will meet the applicable standard for permit issuance, the mitigation may occur within the same watershed as the proposed project.
