Prohibits unregulated pregnancy centers from requiring clients, as a condition of service, or making it reasonably appear to be a condition of service, to disclose certain information relating to their medical history, sexual history, relationship to the other parent of the potential baby, or insurance or financial information.
Provides that mifepristone or misoprostol may be dispensed without the name and address of the dispenser and patient included on the prescription label.
Renames the block grant for child care to the early childhood fund; requires the office of children and family services administer such fund; expands who qualifies for guaranteed child care assistance.
Requires whenever any person driving a vehicle approaches a railroad grade crossing where there is on-track equipment, the driver of such vehicle shall stop not less than fifteen feet from the nearest rail of such railroad, and shall not proceed until they can do so safely.
Establishes a $25 annual supplemental motor vehicle registration fee for counties outside the Metropolitan Commuter Transportation District; dedicates the revenue to upstate public transportation systems.
Relates to motor vehicle insurance fairness; provides that insurance rates shall not be increased based on certain factors; sets forth processes for motor vehicle insurers to have rate increases approved; allows public access in relation to any proposed insurance rate increases; allows members of the public to request permission to intervene in proceedings related to rate increases; directs rules and regulations to be established.
Authorizes the department of environmental conservation to enter into agreements or easements for the sole purpose of interconnection of renewable energy installations across reforestation areas where such installations are located outside such reforestation areas; provides that such agreements or easements shall not interfere with the operation of such reforestation areas for the purposes for which they were acquired.
Relates to preventing minors from participating in sports wagering and creating accounts on mobile sports wagering platforms; requires platforms to employ commercially reasonable and technically feasible age assurance methods.
Relates to artist preferences in housing; provides that giving occupancy preference to individuals who are involved in artistic activities is not an unlawful discriminatory practice provided that such preference is implemented or authorized by an agency or the state of New York.
Relates to the reporting requirements of the statewide fiscal intermediary; requires the reporting of utilization data and financial data to protect medical assistance recipients in using the program and ensure the effective use of medical assistance funds; requires the statewide fiscal intermediary to provide consumer directed personal assistant data to ensure the availability of a workforce to meet the needs of consumers utilizing the program; requires the statewide fiscal intermediary to provide data regarding customer service requests, complaints, and accessibility.
