Authorizes John Raftery to take the competitive civil service exam for the position of police officer and be placed on the eligible civil service list for employment as a full-time police officer for the town of Shawangunk.
Establishes the New York innovative learning models act to provide grants to eligible entities for the planning, development, implementation, replication and scaling of innovative learning models.
Directs the superintendent of financial services to conduct a comprehensive study on mandatory health insurance coverage benefits within the state as compared to other states and the impacts of removing such requirements.
Creates the New York health benefit and cost commission to review and report on utilization rates, public and patient health effects, and impact on premiums and access to health care and health coverage of all existing and proposed mandated health benefits.
Requires slow-moving traffic, trucks, buses, and other certain vehicles use the right two lanes of a multilane roadway and requires all lanes other than the right most two lanes on a multilane highway to be marked with "NO TRUCKS OR BUSES".
Provides expanded enrollment through New York state of health through tax returns, and allows for enrollment through the New York state of health at any time for first-time enrollees.
Enacts the "small business health plan act" which provides small businesses opportunities to provide health insurance to owners and employees by exempting such insurance from certain requirements.
