He has also held executive positions, including serving as CEO of CompX.

Hagenbuch is a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he embraced roles such as Company Commander in Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 during the first Gulf War, and instructor at the Civil Engineer Officers School.
