Authorizes the village of Trumansburg to offer an optional twenty-year retirement plan to Kevin R. Noterfonzo under section 384-d of the retirement and social security law.
Authorizes the discontinuance of certain parklands in the town of Cortlandville, county of Cortland for lease to Park Outdoor Advertising of New York, Inc. for the purpose of erecting, maintaining and operating an electronic sign.
Authorizes the town of Ithaca, county of Tompkins, to discontinue as parklands and alienate certain lands for the purpose of maintaining and operating such lands for agricultural purposes.
Provides that municipal broadband service companies are authorized to provide broadband service to tenants in multi-family housing; provides that landlords shall not interfere with the installation of such service, demand or accept payment for allowing the service on the property, or discriminate in rental charges between tenants who receive broadband service and those that don't.
Allows defendants to respond to appearance tickets for certain local violations, including a violation of a local zoning ordinance or local zoning law or of a building or sanitation code, by mail; establishes procedures for such plea by mail.
Requires certain information to be included on labeling of native plant seeds for sale or distribution in New York state; requires the commissioner of agriculture and markets to promulgate certain requirements for labeling of native plant seeds; makes related provisions.
Authorizes the application of topical fluoride varnish to a child's teeth by a parent or legal guardian provided that such application is done under the direction and supervision of a licensed practitioner.
Establishes the public water justice act; prohibits sale of waters of the state unless otherwise specifically authorized; establishes a public water justice fund for royalties and fees collected from persons or entities authorized to sell waters of the state.
Requires the commissioner to incorporate measures of racial and socioeconomic integration into state accountability models; requires data compiled to be included in the school report card created by the department.
Enacts the "building recruitment and incentives for dedicated government employees (BRIDGE) act" which provides a service credit for members who were previously employed by the federal government.
Prohibits public entities from contracting with airlines that transport individuals who have been detained by U.S. immigration and customs enforcement without being afforded due process rights; prohibits certain sales and use tax exemptions on fuel sold to an airline that transports individuals who have been detained by U.S. immigration and customs enforcement without being afforded due process rights.
