Provides that when a drug is designated or rescheduled by the federal government, it shall be deemed scheduled under NYS law automatically, without further action by the commissioner.
Requires comprehensive eye examinations for students entering public school for the first time and within sixty days where any student fails a school administered vision screening examination; requires regulations.
Requires regulating bodies provide businesses with notice of new rules and regulations within sixty days of such rule or regulation being filed with the secretary of state; provides businesses are given one hundred eighty days to comply with any such rules or regulations.
Directs the commissioner of education to make recommendations to the board of regents regarding the incorporation of instruction in artificial intelligence system literacy into the school curriculum at the elementary, junior high and senior high levels; directs the board of regents to adopt guidelines if the curriculum is adopted.
Requires a business to delete a consumer's financial information after cancellation of an automatic renewal or continuous service, unless such consumer has affirmatively consented to retention of such financial information; requires such business to notify such consumer of such deletion.
Grants a preference to New York state businesses in the state contract award process where the New York state business' bid is within five percent of the winning bid.
