Prohibits certain student organizations which participate in discrimination or intolerance from receiving funding from SUNY, CUNY or community colleges.
Prohibits approved organizations providing coverage under the child health insurance plan from discriminating against health care providers which do not participate in the organization's health care network.
Prohibits the commissioner from promulgating any rules or regulations which prevent schools from disallowing biologically male students at birth to participate on a team organized for females where a school determines such biological male student's participation would have an adverse effect on the physical or emotional safety of female participants, or would adversely impact a female student's ability to participate successfully in interschool athletic competition.
Requires at least a ratio of one clinical, non-student mental health staff member per one thousand students on all SUNY and CUNY campuses and for state colleges and universities to update such ratio every five years.
Prohibits funding for SUNY, CUNY or community colleges which, directly or indirectly, permit terrorist organizations on campus; provides that the state university trustees adopt rules and regulations that any student group or student organization that receives funding from the state university of New York that directly or indirectly promotes, encourages, advocates, or permits any terrorist advocacy or activities on campuses, shall be ineligible for funding, including funding from student activity fee proceeds.
Requires SUNY and CUNY trustees to refrain from investing in and subsequently divest from stocks, debt or other securities of certain publicly traded fossil fuel companies.
Requires the disclosure of the name and contact information of at least one president, treasurer, and social media manager of certain student clubs and organizations to the college at which the club or organization is located.
