Establishes the committee for diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity, the office of diversity management, and the state workforce diversity and inclusions council to ensure diversity and inclusion at certain state entities and combat harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
A bill for an act prohibiting state entities from expending moneys to fund diversity, equity, and inclusion offices or to hire individuals to serve as diversity, equity, and inclusion officers, creating a private cause of action, and including effective date provisions.(See HF 856.)
