Authorizes the city of Yonkers to establish a separate fund into which revenue earmarked for the safe city streets, safe streets, safe schools program will be deposited.
Establishes a water safety swim instructor certification exam and water safety swim instruction and free swim lessons in schools in a city with a population of one million or more.
Establishes a public transportation safety grant program and public transportation safety grant fund for the purpose of enhancing safety infrastructure at public transit facilities throughout the state.
