Proposing and submitting to the voters at the next general election an amendment to the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, limiting the number of terms an individual may serve as a member of the Legislature.
Increases the length of the term of office for members of the legislature from two to four years with no member serving more than sixteen years; imposes term limits on the governor, lieutenant-governor, comptroller, and attorney-general.
Requires that nominating petitions for small city school district elections be submitted no later than thirty days prior to the election; makes technical corrections relating to such small city school board elections.
