Establishes a fire prevention and emergency task force to develop a plan for training requirements and standards for fire prevention and emergency response services in rural areas and to examine the necessity of having uniform standards across the state.
Establishes a task force focused on preventive care in the event federal standards are changed or revoked; establishes the terms, pay and makeup of such taskforce.
Establishes the volunteer fire infrastructure and response equipment (V-FIRE) grant program to support projects which sustain or enhance fire prevention and response operations, and fire prevention and response services infrastructure and equipment.
Requires the state fire administrator to make available a specialized electric vehicle emergency response training program to provide training to individuals responsible for providing emergency response and recovery following incidents involving electric vehicles; defines emergency medical services agency.
