An Act To Known As The Older Americans Act; To Provide That Duties Established In This Act Shall Be Carried Out By The Division Of Aging And Adult Services Of The Mississippi Department Of Human Services; To Provide That The Purpose Of This Act Is To Advise, Assist And Protect The State's Older Adults To The Fullest Extent And Ensure That Programs And Services Are Developed And Implemented To Be Accessible To All Older Adults To Assist Them In The Achievement Or Maintenance Of Maximum Independence And Quality Of Life And Minimum Levels Of Social Dependence; To Provide That The Department Of Human Services, Division Of Aging And Adult Services, Is Designated As The State Unit On Aging Under The Federal Older Americans Act Of 1965 And Shall Exercise All Responsibilities Under That Act; To Prescribe The Duties Of The Division Of Aging And Adult Services Under This Act; To Provide That The Division Shall Ensure That Each Area Agency On Aging Operates In A Manner To Ensure That The Older Adults Of This State Receive The Best Services Possible; To Authorize The Division To Rescind The Designation Of An Area Agency On Aging Or Take Intermediate Measures Against The Agency If The Division Makes Certain Finding Regarding The Area Agency On Aging; To Repeal Sections 43-9-1 Through 43-9-47, Mississippi Code Of 1972, Which Created A Statewide System Of Old Age Assistance Known As The Mississippi Old Age Security Law; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Direct All State Agencies, Departments And Institutions To Immediately Cease Providing State Funds To Any Individual Or Entity That Is Directly Affiliated With A Physician, Medical Practice Or Other Organization Providing Abortion Services Or Facilitating The Procurement Of Abortion Services; To Amend Section 43-13-117.4, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Direct The Division Of Medicaid To Initiate A Comprehensive Review And Revision Of Its Provider Credentialing Standards To Ensure That Only Providers Who Are Fully Aligned With Mississippi's Public Policy Objectives, Including The Protection Of Unborn Life, Are Eligible To Participate In The Medicaid Program; To Direct The Division To Immediately Terminate Or Decline To Renew Any Contract, Memorandum Or Agreement With Any Medicaid Provider Or Entity That Is Not Fully Aligned With Mississippi's Public Policy Objectives; To Direct The Division To Update Its Credentialing And Contracting Procedures To Exclude From New Or Renewed Participation In The Medicaid Program Any Provider Or Entity That Performs, Refers For, Or Is Affiliated With The Performance Of Abortions Not Permitted Under State Law, Or Is Under Common Ownership Or Control With An Entity That Is Engaged In Abortion-related Activities Inconsistent With State Law; To Direct The Division To Require, As A Condition Of Participation In The Medicaid Program, That All Providers Submit A Signed Attestation Disclosing Whether They Or Any Related Entities Engage In Abortion-related Activities; To Direct The Division To Adopt Appropriate Procedures To Verify Compliance With The Requirements Of This Act And Authorize The Division To Take Any Necessary Enforcement Actions For Any Provider Found To Be In Violation Of The Provisions Of This Act; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Establish The Mississippi Emergency Drinking Water Network Act To Be Administered By The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency; To State Legislative Findings And Intent; To Establish The Mississippi Emergency Drinking Water Network Grant Program To Increase Drinking Water Security And Water System Resiliency By Equipping Water Systems And First Responders With Equipment And Training To Maintain Water Service To Vital Facilities And The Public During Periods Of Infrastructure Failure; To Provide Definitions For The Terms Used In The Act; To Specify The Purposes For Grant Awards To Mississippi County Emergency Management Agencies; To Authorize The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (mema) To Make Eligible Equipment Purchases Supporting The Mississippi Emergency Drinking Water Network; To Allow Mema To Use A Maximum Of Two Percent Of Funds Appropriated For The Administrative Expenses Of Carrying Out The Provisions Of This Act, To The Extent Permissible Under Federal Law; To Direct Mema To Seek To Minimize Its Administrative Expenses By Establishing Policies And Procedures Mirroring Past Programs Using Federal Covid-19 Relief Funds; To Require Mema To Certify To The Department Of Finance And Administration That Each Expenditure Appropriated To Mema Is In Compliance With United States Department Of The Treasury Criteria Regarding The Use Of Monies From The Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund; To Provide Reporting Requirements To The Governor And The Legislature By October 1 Of Each Year; To Provide That Funds Appropriated To Mema For The Purposes Of This Act Shall Be Available Through December 31, 2026, Or On The Date Of The Arpa Funds Expenditure Deadline Provided By The Federal Government, Whichever Occurs Later; To Provide That Each Grant Recipient Shall Certify, For Any Project For Which A Grant Is Awarded, That If The Project Is Not Completed By December 31, 2026, And The United States Congress Does Not Enact An Extension Of The Deadline On The Availability Of Arpa Funds, Then The Grant Recipient Will Complete The Project Through Other Funds; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Be Known As The Creating Logic For Efficiency And Accountability Reform (clear) Act; To Create New Section 5-3-77, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Authorize The Peer Committee To Establish A Program Of Reviewing Selected Newly Adopted State Agency Administrative Rules; To Provide That Such Reviews Shall Produce A Report To The Legislature On Newly Adopted State Agency Administrative Rules; To Amend Section 43-13-117, Mississippi Code Of 1972, As Amended By House Bill No. 565, 2026 Regular Session, To Provide That The Peer Committee Shall Conduct A Performance Evaluation Of The Medicaid Nonemergency Transportation Program Once Every Three Years To Evaluate The Administration Of The Program And The Providers Of Transportation Services To Determine The Most Cost-effective Ways Of Providing Nonemergency Transportation Services To The Patients Served Under The Program; To Create The State Board Of Health Professions; To Provide That The Members Of The Board Shall Be One Member From The Boards Of Medical Licensure, Pharmacy, Nursing, Chiropractic Examiners, Dental Examiners And Optometry, And Five Additional Members; To Provide That The Board Shall Evaluate The Need For Coordination Among The Health Regulatory Boards And Their Staffs, Evaluate All Health Care Professions And Occupations In The State And Consider Whether Each Such Profession Or Occupation Should Be Regulated And The Degree Of Regulation To Be Imposed, Serve As A Forum For Resolving Conflicts Among The Health Regulatory Boards, Advise The Governor And The Legislature On Matters Relating To The Regulation Or Deregulation Of Health Care Professions And Occupations, And Examine Scope Of Practice Conflicts Involving Regulated And Unregulated Health Care Professions And Occupations And Advise The Health Regulatory Boards And The Legislature Of The Nature And Degree Of Such Conflicts; To Provide That The State Department Of Health Shall Annually Request A Budget For The State Board Of Health Professions And Shall Provide A Meeting Space And Administrative Support For The Board's Operations; To Amend Section 47-5-579, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Clarify That All Program Withholdings From Participants Of The Prison Industries Corporation's Work Initiative Program Shall Be Calculated Based Upon Participant Wages After Mandatory Deductions; To Require Accounting Of Any Dependent Support Payments, Fines, Restitutions, Fees Or Costs, As Ordered By The Court, Be Reported For Each Work Initiative Participant; To Require That The Remaining Sentence Length Of Such Participant Be Collected, Maintained And Reported; To Require That A Financial Account Creation Date Be Collected, Maintained And Reported For Each Participant; And For Related Purposes.
