"New Jersey Safe Storage of Firearms Act"; establishes certain requirements and penalties regarding firearm storage; repeals law governing minor's access to firearm; requires AG to establish public awareness campaign regarding firearm storage; appropriates $500,000.
Requires public and nonpublic schools with lunch programs to provide free lunch to increasing numbers of income-eligible students and, after five-year phase-in, to provide free lunch to all students, regardless of income or federal eligibility.
Exempts community gardens operating on-site composting systems or other systems of managing organic waste from certain DEP permits under certain conditions.
Allows for operation of crematories at locations not situated on cemetery grounds or funeral home properties; provides for issuance of permits for certain crematories.
