HOUSE RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING SMITHFIELD POLICE DETECTIVE LIEUTENANT DOUGLAS CERCE ON BEING NAMED THE 2025 RHODE ISLAND POLICE CHIEFS ASSOCIATION DETECTIVE OF THE YEAR
Amends the current law on low-income housing to include moderate-income housing and eliminates the income percentages used to determine qualifications for low or moderate income housing.
Provides that stores offering food product discounts must provide the same discounts to in-store customers that are offered to customers using electronic digital coupons.
Adds probation officer and parole officer to the list of public safety employees that are entitled to their full salary if they are injured and become disabled as a result of performance of their job duties.
Provides that minor subdivisions include single family infill subdivisions and establishes procedures for single family infill subdivisions within the subdivision of land chapter of the general laws.
Establishes civil penalties for extended service interruptions by water suppliers. These penalties would be in addition to other available remedies and damages.
Requires public schools to give congressionally chartered youth organizations limited access for recruitment and brief student presentations with parent notice, while preserving school safety and discretion.
Provides that original equipment manufacturers, implemented by/with surrogate distributors, of agricultural equipment, provide to independent service providers repair information and tools to maintain and repair electronics-enabled agricultural equipment.
