Recognizing September 28, 2025, as Gold Star Mother's and Family's Day, and honoring the sacrifices of the Gold Star family members from the State of New York
Adds licensed mental health counselors and licensed marriage and family therapists to the health and social services practitioners included under the health care proxy law, the family health care decisions act, and nonhospital orders not to resuscitate.
Prohibits a property owner from enforcing or adopting a restriction that prohibits one or more religious items from being displayed or affixed on any entry door or entry doorframe of a dwelling.
Provides a waiver of earnings limitations for retired sworn law enforcement officers employed by the office of the special commissioner of investigations for the New York city school district.
Provides that transportation shall be provided to all children attending grades kindergarten through twelve who live within a fifteen mile radius of the school they legally attend; provides that such transportation may also be provided for such students to before-and/or-after-school child care locations.
