Establishes the buy American, buy union grant program and the buy American, buy union grant fund for the purpose of providing grants to municipal subdivisions to reimburse such municipal subdivisions for the costs of procuring consumer or commercial vehicles which are union-made.
Directs the office of the state comptroller to conduct a study on establishing a universal pension system in the state of New York; requires the office of the state comptroller to submit a report of such study.
Reforms the opioid settlement board to provide services and supports to grieving families and include board members who lost a child, sibling, parent or close family member to substance use disorder.
Authorizes Ryan J. St. Gelais and Aaron M. St. Gelais, police officers in the village of Menands, county of Albany, to receive certain credit under section 384-d of the retirement and social security law and to apply for reinstatement with the NY state and local police and fire retirement system.
