Prohibits the operation of NYC transit authority subways or trains without at least one conductor on board, except where it is currently permissible; requires a conductor on any subway or train operated by such authority whenever the subway or train has more than two cars attached to the engine.
Requires a motion picture theater that offers more than ten motion picture showings per week to provide scheduled showings of motion pictures with open motion picture captioning such that at least one quarter of all showings of a motion picture with four or more showings during a one-week time period shall have open motion picture captioning; provides exceptions and penalties for violations.
Requires insurers to cover the substitution of a brand name prescription drug when the federal food and drug administration has declared that there is a supply issue with a generic drug.
Requires certain persons attend the electronic cigarette and vaping prevention, awareness and control program; requires the department of health to contact the parents and/or guardians of any person enrolled in secondary education who is found to be using or in possession of an electronic cigarette or vapor product while less than twenty-one years of age.
