Relates to strengthening of utility storm response and compliance by reviewing mitigating factors including but not limited to mitigating factors and the specifics surrounding the violation or violations.
Provides that court records in a proceeding under articles 77, 78 and 81 of the mental hygiene law shall not be perused, examined, disclosed, taken or copied by any other person than a party, the attorney or counsel of a party, the guardian, the court evaluator or the court examiner except by order of the court.
Requires pharmacies to provide prescription drug readers or other means of access to individuals who disclose they have difficulty seeing or reading standard print labels on prescription drug containers; defines "prescription drug reader" to mean a device which is capable of audibly conveying information contained on the label of a prescription drug; makes exceptions.
Provides that the "Suicide Awareness and Remembrance Flag" shall be the official state flag for the raising of awareness of veteran suicide; directs the commissioner of general services to establish a protocol for the flying of such flag.
Provides that a plaintiff shall have up to twenty-one days to consider whether any resolution to a claim involving discrimination, harassment or retaliation shall include the underlying facts of the claim or whether such underlying facts shall be kept confidential.
Requires the cannabis control board to provide notice to state legislative representatives upon receipt of application for an adult-use cannabis retail dispensary or on-site consumption license in their district.
Prohibits retail dealers from opening a tobacco business within 500 feet of an already existing licensed tobacco business; provides an exception if it is determined to be in the public interest by the municipality or community board.
Requires that all terrain vehicles only be filled with gas when on a tow or trailer; requires gas stations to post signs indicating to customers that an ATV needs to be on a tow or trailer before filling it with gas.
Prohibits the advertisement of firearms as combat weapons; exempts the advertisement of such rifles, shotguns, or firearms for the purposes of recreation, hunting, self-defense or other legal uses of such firearms.
Includes care and services provided by a child advocacy center licensed, certified, or otherwise authorized by the office of children and family services under standard coverage for Medicaid recipients.
