In charter schools, further providing for definitions, for charter school requirements, for establishment of charter school, for causes for nonrenewal or termination, for powers and duties of department, for cyber charter school requirements and prohibitions and for establishment of cyber charter school; and, in the State Board of Education, further providing for powers and duties of the board.
Recognizing the week of May 10 through 16, 2026, as "National Police Week" and recognizing May 15, 2026, as "Peace Officers Memorial Day" in Pennsylvania.
Authorizing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to join the Respiratory Care Interstate Compact; providing for the form of the compact; and imposing additional powers and duties on the Governor, the Secretary of the Commonwealth and the Respiratory Care Interstate Compact.
Establishing the Firefighter Cancer Screening Program and the Firefighter Cancer Screening Fund; and, in special funds, further providing for disposition of Budget Stabilization Reserve Fund.
Designating July 4, 2026, as "Valley Forge National Historical Park Day" in Pennsylvania in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Valley Forge National Historical Park.
In bases of jurisdiction and interstate and international procedure, further providing for assistance to tribunals and litigants outside this Commonwealth with respect to service and for issuance of subpoena; in commencement of proceedings, further providing for authority of officers of another state to arrest in this Commonwealth; and, in detainers and extradition, further providing for definitions, for duty of Governor with respect to fugitives from justice and for presigned waiver of extradition.
