Prohibits the operation of NYC transit authority subways or trains without at least one conductor on board, except where it is currently permissible; requires a conductor on any subway or train operated by such authority whenever the subway or train has more than two cars attached to the engine.
Commemorating April 8, 2026, as the One-Year Anniversary of the Jet Set nightclub tragedy in the Dominican Republic, and paying tribute to the many lives lost and injured in the incident
Requires the governor as part of the executive budget submission to submit a five-year capital plan for state university of New York state-operated campuses and city university of New York senior colleges and establish system-wide goals and objectives for capital funding and provide for an annual estimate of the amount of capital funding needed to maintain or make progress in reducing the current facility condition index for each system.
Relates to veterans' health care; creates a veteran health care review to ensure veterans and their families have access to health and mental health treatment, including for post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, military sexual trauma, reproductive and mental health conditions, and suicide prevention.
Extends the effectiveness of certain sections of law relating to real property tax exemptions for real property owned by volunteer firefighters and volunteer ambulance workers.
