Authorizes Ministerio Sion New York, Inc. to retroactively apply for a real property tax exemption for the 2022-2023 school year and 2023 general taxes for certain property located at 97 New Hyde Park Road in the hamlet of Franklin Square, town of Hempstead, county of Nassau.
Requires coverage for hearing aids for patients who are covered under a policy or contract of insurance if the hearing aids are fitted and dispensed by a licensed audiologist certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association following medical clearance by a physician licensed to practice medicine and an audiological evaluation.
Establishes the "childcare and early education sector on the economy act" to study the economic impact on the state economy of quality childcare and early education programs for children aged 0-4, and afterschool programs for children aged 5-12.
Establishes the office of census counts and provides for its powers and duties and the New York state census counts commission and provides for its powers and duties; establishes the offense of impersonation of a census enumerator; makes an appropriation therefor.
Directs the commissioner of health, in consultation with the commissioner of education, the commissioner of mental health, the commissioner of corrections and community supervision and the state board of pharmacy, to promulgate and implement rules and regulations authorizing the use of automated patient dispensing and storage systems for distribution of prescription and non-prescription drugs and medical devices at certain facilities.
Directs the commissioner of corrections and community supervision, in consultation with the commissioner of health, the commissioner of education, the commissioner of mental health, and the state board of pharmacy, to promulgate and implement rules and regulations authorizing the use of automated patient dispensing and storage systems for distribution of prescription and non-prescription drugs and medical devices in correctional facilities.
Directs the commissioner of health, in consultation with the commissioner of education, the commissioner of mental health, the state board of pharmacy and the commissioner of corrections and community supervision, to promulgate and implement rules and regulations authorizing the use of automated patient dispensing and storage systems for distribution of prescription and non-prescription drugs and medical devices.
Establishes a high school robotics grant program; provides funding to high schools for participation in robotics competitions; sets forth eligibility requirements; provides for the application and awards process.
Requires the court to consider a child's health and safety when making a decision regarding child custody and visitation; directs the court to review certain information as it relates to allegations of child abuse, domestic violence and child safety; requires the court to appoint an attorney to represent the child when credible allegations of serious risk to the child's safety have been made.
Requires a pharmacy benefit manager to pay a participating pharmacy at minimum at the national average drug acquisition cost (NADAC) rate, or at the pharmacy acquisition cost rate if greater or there is not a NADAC rate, plus a professional dispensing fee that is at minimum the professional dispensing fee paid under the state medical assistance program.
Relates to the right to unemployment benefits based on employment with certain educational institutions, including the state university of New York, the city university of New York and public community colleges; clarifies the meaning of certain terms relating to such rights to unemployment benefits.
