Establishes an annual food tax holiday exempting sales taxes on certain currently taxable food items, including hot and cold prepared foods intended for immediate consumption, and any other ready-to-eat item sold in a grocery store, deli or food counter, meals purchased at a restaurant including takeout and delivery orders, in November or December.
Directs the department of taxation and finance to include an opportunity on certain personal income tax forms for individuals to provide written consent to be added to the donate life registry; makes related provisions.
Provides that public officers and employees of the state who are members of the United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol or the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Pilots shall be granted leave from work with pay to participate in emergency services during certain air force assigned missions.
Relates to coercive control; provides that the family court and the criminal courts shall have concurrent jurisdiction over acts which constitute coercive control; provides that courts may issue orders of protection upon a finding of coercive control; directs the office of court administration, in consultation with the office for the prevention of domestic violence and certain organizations, to develop and administer training for judges and court clerks on coercive control.
Relates to the New York State medical indemnity fund account payments; extends provisions relating to payments from the New York state medical indemnity fund; provides for the repeal of certain provisions upon the expiration thereof.
