Requires an operator of a covered platform with at least one million users to ensure that its covered platform provides a process to allow law enforcement agencies to contact such covered platform, which shall provide continuous availability of such process; provides that an operator of a covered platform with at least one million users shall comply with a search warrant within seventy-two hours of receipt under certain circumstances; provides that a court may extend the time for compliance with a search warrant under certain circumstances.
Prohibits artificial intelligence chatbots from using features which are considered unsafe for minors; defines terms; specifies what are considered unsafe features.
Renames the block grant for child care to the early childhood fund; requires the office of children and family services administer such fund; expands who qualifies for guaranteed child care assistance.
Clarifies that employment at any licensee under the cannabis law satisfies employment requirements for parole, probation or other state supervision unless the terms and conditions of said parole, probation, or state supervision explicitly prohibit such employment.
Establishes the hospice workforce stabilization and innovation program; grants for staff retention incentives, continuing education, professional certification including board certification in hospice and palliative care, workforce wellness initiatives, and other workforce support activities approved by the department; creates grants for establishing regional hospice workforce pipeline programs.
Defines the term "satisfaction" in relation to the satisfaction of judgments; allows satisfaction of judgments to be filed by affirmation rather than after notarization; increases the time during which attorneys may file satisfaction of judgment from ten to twenty years; clarifies that the twenty-day time limit applicable to filing satisfactions of judgment is measured in business days.
Eliminates the prospective enrollment waiting period for children under the age of nineteen enrolling in the child health insurance plan program by enrolling a child retroactively to the first day of the month in which they are approved for coverage under such program.
Allows a party asserting a claim to discontinue an action without procedural delays when the discontinuance would benefit an unrepresented party and that party has not responded to a request to stipulate to a discontinuance in a reasonable period of time.
Relates to motor vehicle insurance fairness; provides that insurance rates shall not be increased based on certain factors; sets forth processes for motor vehicle insurers to have rate increases approved; allows public access in relation to any proposed insurance rate increases; allows members of the public to request permission to intervene in proceedings related to rate increases; directs rules and regulations to be established.
Authorizes the department of environmental conservation to enter into agreements or easements for the sole purpose of interconnection of renewable energy installations across reforestation areas where such installations are located outside such reforestation areas; provides that such agreements or easements shall not interfere with the operation of such reforestation areas for the purposes for which they were acquired.
