Requires hotels and lodging facilities to make at least two attempts to contact guests who leave any item of greater than nominal value or identification documents behind within 48 hours of the completion of their stay where such guest chose to be contacted for such reasons; requires the destruction of any identification documents if the owner cannot be contacted; limits the liability of a lodging owner or operator for damage or loss during shipping.
Provides that vehicles with permits for handicapped parking issued anywhere in the state may use all spaces for handicapped parking in the city of New York.
Relates to adopting the Appalachian states radioactive waste compact; assures interstate cooperation for the proper management and disposal of low-level radioactive wastes to reduce the volume of low-level radioactive waste.
Requires disclosure to the department of audit and control of annual employment reports for non-charitable, non-profit entities that are qualified as an exempt organization or entity by the United States Treasury under I.R.C. 501(c)(3) and (4) and that receives more than twenty-five percent of their total annual revenue from state funds.
Prohibits the governor from granting themselves or any person involved with furthering the illegal conduct of the governor a reprieve, commutation or pardon.
Relates to the certification of registered nurse anesthetists; provides that for such certification an applicant shall file an application, be licensed as a registered professional nurse, have satisfactorily completed educational preparation for the administration of anesthesia by an accredited entity and pay a fee; specifies who may represent themself as a registered nurse anesthetist.
