Repeals the requirement that any person, firm or corporation that sells or offers for sale at retail any motor fuel for use in internal combustion engines in motor vehicles or motorboats posts on the dispensing device signage stating the price per gallon of such motor fuel.
Requires at least two photo speed violation monitoring systems in highway construction or maintenance work areas located on a controlled-access highway or on the thruway.
Exempts minority depository institutions which are subject to the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 from report and document filing requirements with the superintendent of financial services for a period of ten years from commencement of business.
Establishes the study commission on preventing snow emergencies to evaluate the impact of grid electrification on the safety and reliability of heating systems in snowstorms that cause power outages, and to develop strategies and best practices to maximize grid reliability and resiliency during extreme winter weather events.
Prohibits the use of unmanned aerial vehicles to search for, scout, locate, hunt, detect, or otherwise aid in the taking of a wild animal to which the hunting season applies.
Removes the residency requirement for all public office positions employed by a county; provides that counties shall have the authority to determine residency requirements for each county job on a county by county basis.
Ensures zero-emission school buses and major components thereof are manufactured and assembled within the United States; provides for waivers of zero-emission school bus requirements in certain circumstances.
Requires the Empire State Development Corporation, in consultation with the department of agriculture and markets and the office of new Americans to conduct a study on the economic impact of the establishment of kitchen incubators; requires a report to the governor and the legislature.
Requires age verification for internet pornography websites; imposes a $50,000 penalty per day for violations; provides exemptions for news organizations.
Prohibits public employers from diminishing health insurance benefits provided to Medicare-eligible retirees and their Medicare-eligible dependents or the contributions such employer makes for such health insurance coverage below the level of such benefits or contributions made on behalf of such retirees and dependents by the public employer as of December 31, 2021.
