HOUSE RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE SOCIETY FOR ADVANCEMENT OF MANAGEMENT (SAM) ON THE 2026 81ST ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS CONFERENCE, MARCH 16–21, 2026, AND RECOGNIZING CONFERENCE CHAIR, SHELBY PERRY
Prohibits any questioning of a juvenile who is suspected of delinquent or criminal behavior, unless the parent of guardian of the juvenile is present, or unless an attorney is present or the juvenile and their parents have waived their presence.
Amends the Rhode Island Fair Housing Practices Act to clarify housing-status enforcement, ban discriminatory housing notices, aligns state law with federal standards and removes a ban on public discussion of fair housing cases.
