A resolution to strongly encourage the Michigan High School Athletic Association to promptly align its eligibility rules for high school athletes with Executive Order 14201 to preserve the integrity of competition and the safety of our female athletes.
Crimes: intoxication or impairment; methods of testing intoxication or impairment in the Michigan vehicle code; expand to include other bodily fluid. Amends secs. 43b & 319b of 1949 PA 300 (MCL 257.43b & 257.319b) & adds sec. 36d. TIE BAR WITH: HB 4391'25
Criminal procedure: mental capacity; outpatient treatment for misdemeanor offenders with mental health issues; provide for. Amends 1974 PA 258 (MCL 330.1001 - 330.2106) by adding sec. 1021 & ch. 10A. TIE BAR WITH: HB 4412'25
Retirement: county employees; employment of retirant in a county sheriff's office; allow without forfeiting retirement allowance. Amends sec. 12a of 1851 PA 156 (MCL 46.12a).
Public employees and officers: other; immediate removal of a public officer from office; provide for upon the public officer's felony conviction. Amends the state constitution by adding sec. 9 to art. XI.
Education: safety; OK2SAY program contact information; require inclusion on certain student identification cards. Amends title & secs. 3 & 5 of 2020 PA 211 (MCL 380.1893 & 380.1895).
Mental health: hospitalization; person requiring treatment; revise, and modify certain procedures for treatment. Amends secs. 401, 427, 430, 461, 468, 472a & 475 of 1974 PA 258 (MCL 330.1401 et seq.).
