Changes the start date of the operation and enforcement of the central business district tolling program from no earlier than December thirty-first, two thousand twenty to no earlier than January first, two thousand thirty-one.
Requires that the NYS board of regents hold at least two meetings a year in New York city; requires announcements of the time, date, location and agenda thereof.
Relates to an increase in punishment for certain actions against on-duty auxiliary police officers such as criminally negligent homicide, assault or menacing of such officer.
Establishes the "Interstate insurance product regulation compact" to regulate certain insurance products among member states and to promote and protect the interest of consumers of individual and group annuity, life insurance, disability income and long-term care insurance products.
Categorizes members of an auxiliary police program organized and maintained by a state or local police department with police officers and peace officers for purposes of certain felony classifications.
Establishes the crime of forcible touching of a correction officer; increases criminal penalties for certain sexual offenses committed against correction officers when such correction officer is acting in the course of such correction officer's employment.
Requires that notice be provided to any officer or employee of the department of corrections and community supervision whose personal information is the subject of a subpoena duces tecum.
Prohibits charging a fee to obtain a certified copy or certified transcript of birth when the department of corrections and community supervision or a local correctional facility requests such for an individual under community supervision in connection with such individual's ongoing supervision in the community.
Establishes the "tick borne illness treatment and education act"; requires health insurers to provide coverage for long term medical care for Lyme disease and other tick borne related pathogens.
Provides for a personal income tax deduction for school supplies paid for out-of-pocket by K-12 teachers in public and nonpublic schools, up to $500 per year.
Relates to establishing the housing access voucher program; provides that the commissioner of the division of housing and community renewal shall implement a program of rental assistance in the form of housing vouchers for eligible individuals and families who are homeless or who face an imminent loss of housing; provides that the commissioner shall designate housing access voucher local administrators in the state to administer the program.
