Amending the act of May 11, 1889 (P.L.188, No.210), entitled "A further supplement to an act, entitled 'An act to establish a board of wardens for the Port of Philadelphia, and for the regulation of pilots and pilotage, and for other purposes,' approved March twenty-ninth, one thousand eight hundred and three, and for regulating the rates of pilotage and number of pilots," further providing for rates of pilotage and computation, for pilotage fees and unit charge and for charges for services.
Further providing for definitions and for postpartum coverage standards; providing for provisions relating to involuntary discharge; and imposing duties on the Department of Human Services.
Recognizing the week of April 11 through 17, 2025, as "Black Maternal Health Week" in Pennsylvania to bring attention to the maternal health crisis and the importance of reducing maternal mortality and morbidity among Black women and birthing persons.
In school health services, further providing for health services and for vision screening and examinations, providing for eye health examinations and further providing for examinations by examiners of own choice.
In mortgage loan industry licensing and consumer protection, further providing for definitions and for powers conferred on certain licensees engaged in the mortgage loan business; and making repeals.
Urging the Congress of the United States to condition any additional appropriations for the United States Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement on meaningful accountability, transparency and civil rights reforms.
Urging the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in consultation and cooperation with the United States Secretary of State and relevant Federal partners, to compile and publicize information on reputable humanitarian, nonprofit and faith-based organizations through which the residents of Pennsylvania may provide assistance for humanitarian relief in Haiti.
