Recognizing the week of May 10 through 16, 2026, as "National Police Week" and recognizing May 15, 2026, as "Peace Officers Memorial Day" in Pennsylvania.
Recognizing the week of April 12 through 18, 2026, as "National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week" in Pennsylvania in honor of those whose diligence and professionalism keep our communities and residents safe.
Directing the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to conduct a comprehensive study of the financial impacts of pooling all school district property tax revenue at the intermediate unit level and distributing that money to school districts based on their average daily membership.
Further providing for compensation of Governor and Lieutenant Governor, State Treasurer, Auditor General, Attorney General, Commissioners of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and heads of departments and for members of the General Assembly.
Further providing for title of the act, for Pennsylvania Amber Alert System and Missing Endangered Person Advisory System (MEPAS) established and for immunity.
In registration of vehicles, further providing for vehicles exempt from registration; in fees, further providing for farm vehicles; and, in inspection of vehicles, further providing for requirement for periodic inspection of vehicles and for operation of vehicle without official certificate of inspection.
