Establishes protected leave under "Family Leave Act" and family temporary disability leave benefits for bereavement for death of child, miscarriage, stillbirth, and certain other circumstances.
Requires Director of Division of Housing and Community Resources in DCA to establish grant program to encourage municipalities to develop recreational sports and STEM programs for children; appropriates $10 million.
Directs Commissioner of Education to develop sensitivity training program for high school athletic directors, coaches, and sports officials of interscholastic athletic sports programs.
Creates domestic violence Internet registry for certain public access; mandates counseling and community service and increases fines for certain domestic violence offenders.
Requires municipalities to share certain payments in lieu of property taxes with school districts; informs counties, school districts, and DCA of certain information related to property tax exemptions and abatements.
Requires Bureau of Housing Inspection to establish hotline and maintain database for public housing occupants to lodge complaints concerning living conditions.
Legalizes growing or possessing up to six marijuana plants for personal recreational use, and up to 10 plants for personal medical use, by persons aged 21 or older.
