If a driver is 18 or younger and gets a ticket and they have had no other tickets before, they can take a class instead of having the ticket. (Flesch Readability Score: 63.6). Authorizes a driver improvement course as an alternative to conviction of a traffic violation for a person 18 years of age or less whose driving record shows no prior convictions of traffic offenses. Provides exception if person has already taken a driver improvement course.
