AN ACT relating to governmental administration; requiring certain public entities to post certain information relating to purchasing on their Internet websites; revising the duties of the Commission to Study Governmental Purchasing; abolishing the Regional Business Development Advisory Council for Clark County; eliminating a requirement that institutions of the Nevada System of Higher Education provide certain mentoring to certain businesses participating in the NV Grow Program; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to insurance; making various changes to the Nevada Insurance Code; revising provisions governing examinations of insurers and other persons subject to regulation under the Code; revising certain powers and duties of the Commissioner of Insurance; revising various requirements and restrictions imposed on insurers and other persons subject to regulation under the Code; revising provisions relating to service contracts, providers of service contracts and administrators of service contracts; repealing provisions governing insurance for home protection; revising provisions relating to administrators; standardizing the definitions of certain words and terms; revising provisions relating to adjustors; revising provisions relating to certain trade practices and frauds; removing certain obsolete and duplicative provisions; transferring certain duties from the Commissioner of Financial Institutions to the Commissioner of Mortgage Lending; revising provisions relating to certain accounts and funds relevant to the regulation of certain insurers and insurance administration; designating certain employees of the Division of Insurance of the Department of Business and Industry as category II peace officers; providing penalties; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to environmental hazards; authorizing the Division of Environmental Protection of the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to issue an order for certain violations relating to mining reclamation; providing the Division, solid waste management authority and Department with a lien on certain property under certain circumstances; revising provisions governing mining reclamation to include the stabilization of process fluids; revising certain requirements for a permit to engage in a mining operation or exploration project; authorizing the State Environmental Commission to adopt regulations relating to solid waste management facilities; requiring the Commission to adopt regulations relating to the requirements for the owner or operator of a municipal solid waste landfill or solid waste management facility to provide certain evidence of financial responsibility; requiring a permit to construct or operate a solid waste management facility; making requirements for disposal sites applicable to solid waste management facilities; prohibiting a municipal solid waste landfill from accepting certain types of hazardous waste; revising provisions relating to the management of hazardous waste; revising requirements governing a permit to operate a facility for the management of hazardous waste; revising requirements relating to evidence of financial responsibility provided by an owner or operator of certain facilities for the management of hazardous waste; revising certain prohibitions relating to hazardous waste; providing penalties; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to business; authorizing the Secretary of State to adopt regulations to decrease the amount of the fee for the issuance or renewal of a state business license and certain filing fees paid by business entities; authorizing the Secretary of State to adopt regulations to decrease certain penalties and fees for failing to obtain or renew a state business license or timely file certain documents; revising provisions governing the renewal of a state business license; requiring an electronic mail address to be included in certain filings related to registered agents; authorizing the Office of the Secretary of State to accept records written in a language other than English under certain circumstances; revising provisions governing acceptance by the Secretary of State of certain documents on behalf of a business entity whose name includes certain words associated with professions regulated by the State Board of Architecture, Interior Design and Residential Design; eliminating fees for the filing of documents to dissolve or cancel the registration of a business entity; revising provisions governing the registration of trademarks, trade names and service marks with the Secretary of State; authorizing the Board to accept proof of receipt of the Pritzker Architecture Prize in lieu of an examination for registration as an architect; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to education; providing for pupils in elementary school to receive a certain amount of outdoor recess each school day, with certain exceptions; authorizing the approval of academic credit for outdoor recreational activities under certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to gaming; retaining the jurisdiction of the Nevada Gaming Control Board and the Nevada Gaming Commission under certain circumstances; requiring the Commission to adopt regulations governing such jurisdiction and the surrender or attempted surrender of a license, registration, finding of suitability or preliminary finding of suitability; revising the definition of hearing examiner; revising certain provisions governing investigative hearings and judicial review related to the licensing and control of gaming; authorizing the Board and Commission to require a finding of suitability or the licensing of any person who conducts a tournament or contest on behalf of or in conjunction with a gaming licensee; revising provisions governing the voluntary surrender of a gaming license; revising the fines for certain violations relating to the licensing and control of gaming; revising provisions governing the judicial review of certain decisions by the Board and the Commission; revising provisions relating to the resolution of certain claims by patrons regarding gaming debts; repealing provisions governing the registration or licensing of persons conducting certain tournaments or contests in association with a gaming licensee; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to governmental administration; revising in skeleton form the powers and duties of the Office of Nevada Boards, Commissions and Councils Standards of the Department of Business and Industry; making various changes in skeleton form to the composition and operation of various boards, commissions, councils and similar bodies; providing in skeleton form for the consolidation and termination of various boards, commissions, councils and similar bodies; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to cannabis; revising provisions relating to the confidentiality of certain information relating to cannabis; revising provisions governing certain disciplinary proceedings; revising provisions relating to the operation of a cannabis establishment; revising certain requirements relating to the packaging and labeling of cannabis and cannabis products; authorizing the Cannabis Compliance Board to issue summonses and subpoenas and take certain other actions relating to unlicensed cannabis activities; revising provisions relating to the licensing of a cannabis establishment; revising provisions relating to cannabis independent testing laboratories; revising provisions relating to advertising engaged in and packaging used by a cannabis establishment; exempting certain persons from state prosecution for certain criminal offenses under certain circumstances; requiring the Cannabis Advisory Commission to conduct certain studies; making various other changes relating to the regulation of cannabis; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
